The National Association for the Education of Young Children’s (NAEYC) annual celebration, Week of the Young Child, shines the spotlight on early childhood educators, families, and communities. This year, the weeklong event runs from April 11 to April 17, 2020.
In these times of uncertainty and our ever-changing environments, it is important to provide children a sense of reassurance and stability. NAEYC’s Week of the Young Child is the perfect time to do just that by getting creative with family activities and classroom projects. Each day of the week is an opportunity to learn or experience something new. Resources and tools to help you get started are available on NAEYC’s Activity page.
